I’d seen a few other mums with them and I’d heard good things about them so I was keen to try the chewable giraffe out. They are made out of 100% natural rubber and painted with non-toxic food-grade paint so are completely safe. The rubber texture, the soft colours and the squeaky noise also means they are stimulating to baby’s senses.
I bought the teether for Kory quite early on so he hadn’t actually got round to using it until recently when he started teething. He has traded gnawing on his hand for chewing on the teether, he is able to hold the giraffe and bring it up to his mouth by himself, he likes that the teether squeaks too!
Sophie la Girafe teethers are available from most baby stores. We got ours from mamas and papas.
